As a young, black, male nurse the odds are already against us. We know about the typical stereotypes and stigmas they try to associate with us. In the nursing world you rarely see “US.”
From my tenacious ways I was bound to break that. From starting from the bottom and climbing vigorously to the top I’ve encountered setbacks, disappointments, and heartaches. My perseverance still remained. Through all of this Christian Taylor’d was born.
